Questions

How ordering works, what we publish about a material and what we do not, and what happens if something goes wrong. Every answer here restates a published policy.

These are the questions we are actually asked. If yours is not here, send it through the inquiry form and a person will answer it.

Ordering

How do I order?
Send an inquiry with the material and quantity you want. We reply by email with availability and a total, and the order is agreed in that thread. There is no cart and no account, which is deliberate: it keeps a person on both ends of every order.
Is the price on the catalog the price I pay?
It is the list price per vial. Quantity pricing exists and is agreed in the reply, so tell us how many you need and we will come back with the total.
Do you take discount or referral codes?
Yes. Put the code in the inquiry form and we will apply it when we reply with your total.
Is what I see in stock actually in stock?
Yes. Availability on the catalog reflects what is on the shelf, and it is updated by hand rather than by a system that can drift. If something is out we will say so and tell you when we expect it.
Who am I buying from?
Cupid Chems LLC, an Alabama limited liability company, run by two people. The same two people read every inquiry and pack every order.

The materials

Why does the catalog not say what anything does?
Because we do not publish that, and we will not supply it on request. Identity, quantity, and price is the whole of what we state about a material. It is a fixed condition of sale set out in our Research Use Only policy, not an oversight and not something a well-phrased email gets around.
Can you tell me which one is right for my work?
No. Choosing a material is the researcher’s judgement, and a recommendation from us would be a statement about intended use. We will confirm identity, size, price, and availability for anything in the catalog.
Will you supply dosing, preparation, or protocols?
No, in any form and to any customer. That covers amounts, schedules, reconstitution, diluents, and routes of administration. If you ask, we will decline and the rest of your inquiry still gets answered.
Do you provide certificates of analysis?
Not today. When a material has one it will be linked from that material’s page, and if it is not linked there we do not have one to send. We would rather say that plainly than imply testing we cannot show you.
Are these approved for anything?
No. Nothing we supply is a drug, food, dietary supplement, cosmetic, or medical device, none of it has been evaluated by the FDA, and none of it is sold for human or veterinary use.

After the order

Something arrived damaged, wrong, or not at all.
Tell us within a few days of delivery and we will make it right if we shipped the wrong material or quantity, it was damaged in transit, or the carrier lost it. Photographs help. The full terms are in Shipping and Returns.
Can I return something I no longer want?
No. All sales are final and we do not accept returns or exchanges, because we cannot verify how a material was stored once it has left us. Check your order when it arrives.
What do you do with my details?
We use them to reply to you and fill your order, and nothing else. We do not sell or share them, this site runs no analytics or advertising trackers, and it sets one cookie which remembers that you confirmed the research use conditions. That is all in the Privacy Policy.
Will you refuse an order?
Yes, and we have published the conditions under which we do. If an inquiry makes clear a material is intended for a person or an animal we will not fill it, and anything already paid is refunded in full.

Still stuck
